The Last House Built By The Foreman

A foreman has been working in a constructioncompany for 30 years. He was old now. He wantedto spend time with his wife and family and live freely. Of course, he would miss the high salary he

received.

 The foreman told his boss that he nowwants to retire. The boss was upset that thehardworking foreman wanted to leave. The bossasked the foreman to build one more house.

The foreman agreed and started work. However, hisheart was not what he was doing. He did a sloppyworkmanship and used poor quality materials. 

The foreman had done amazing work for 30 years.But the last house he built was very bad. Because theforeman made this last house reluctantly.When the

foreman finished the job, the boss came to see the house.He handed the key to the house to the foreman.

"I surprised you, this house is a gift to you for 30years of service you have done to our company." The foreman was shocked. How embarrassed he was! If only he knew that the house he was building was his own! Would he do it like that then?
